چکیده

Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious acute respiratory disease caused by SARS-CoV-2. The protein that plays a role in the entry of SARS-CoV-2 into human cells surface protein, or Spike, which thought to be effective vaccine target prevent infection. Until December 2020, Indonesia has reported 106 genome sequences identified from COVID-19 positive patients. purpose this study was analyze phylogenetic relationship Spike Indonesian isolates Indonesian, as well virus mutations and their effects on changes amino acid. genomes were downloaded GISAID nucleotide acid analyzed multiple sequence alignment (MSA) mutation analysis using ClustalW method. Phylogenetic trees created Neighbor-Joining method MEGA-X software. results showed 30 isolate 100% identical Wuhan-Hu-1, while remaining 76 had experienced at 1-4 sites. There 43-point gene, 27 led four not been other countries. global D614G found 60 , West Java province with most reports. samples have divided several branches are far Wuhan-Hu-1. This indicates possibility differences structure need further studied manufacture against strain

Characterization of severe acute respiratory syndrome-associated coronavirus (SARS-CoV) spike glycoprotein-mediated viral entry.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome-associated coronavirus (SARS-CoV) is a rapidly emerging pathogen with potentially serious consequences for public health. Here we describe conditions that result not only in the efficient expression of the SARS-CoV spike (S) protein on the surface of cells, but in its incorporation into lentiviral particles that can be used to transduce cells in an S glycoprote...

Genome-wide computational prediction of miRNAs in severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) revealed target genes involved in pulmonary vasculature and antiviral innate immunity

The current outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)in China threatened humankind worldwide. The coronaviruses contains the largest RNA genome among all other known RNA viruses, therefore the disease etiology can be understood by analyzing the genome sequence of SARS-CoV-2. In this study, we used an ab-intio based computational tool VMir to scan the complete geno...

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) infection inhibition using spike protein heptad repeat-derived peptides.

The coronavirus SARS-CoV is the primary cause of the life-threatening severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). With the aim of developing therapeutic agents, we have tested peptides derived from the membrane-proximal (HR2) and membrane-distal (HR1) heptad repeat region of the spike protein as inhibitors of SARS-CoV infection of Vero cells. It appeared that HR2 peptides, but not HR1 peptides, w...

Coronavirus in severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).

In November 2002, an outbreak of a life-threatening ‘atypical pneumonia’ for which no etiological agent could be identified occurred in Guangdong Province, China. In March 2003, a similar outbreak was reported in Hong Kong [1]. Cases of similar respiratory illness were subsequently reported globally including China, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam, Canada and USA. This syndrome is a new clinical ent...
